CHANGE

Today I want to write about CHANGE, and I don’t mean changes happening on a superficial level but changes happening on a deep level, inside us – the scary ones. Changes that will mean moving out of our comfort zone toward living a powerful and meaningful life.

The nature of everything that we perceive through our senses is subject to change. Change is happening around us all the time, and if there is something that never changes it is change itself.

The sky changes. The mountains change. The forest changes. The body changes.

But if it’s so natural to change, why does it sometimes feel so unnatural?

The short answer is fear.

Change is not the problem. Fear of the unknown is the problem, and in order to change, we need to face our fears. There is no shortcut or way around it.

For those of you who are not living a happy life, you know that there is something that you need to break through, and until you do, you will feel like your life is passing you by and you are wasting it.

From 1 to 10, how significant you are in this life?

If you answer anything less than 10, then you are wrong! The truth is that you are a 10 and not because I say so, it’s because everything in this world is perfect. Nature makes no mistakes, (unless you think so).

Find out by marking A or B if there are any changes you feel like it's time to start making?

A. Do you know what your purpose in life is; or

B. Have you not realised that there is a purpose to your life?

A. Do you have a crystal-clear vision of where you need to go; or

B. Do you have no idea where to start?

A. Do you have strong reasons to move forward; or

B. Do you feel you have no reason to move forward?

A. Do you listen to your own inner voice; or

B. Are you going crazy from hearing too many voices?

A. Do you have a strategy, and a plan to execute; or

B. You just go with what the majority says or do?

A. Do you wake up at 4am overflowing with inspiring ideas; or

B. Do you wake up at 4am overflowing with stress and fear?

A. Are you on your way to living the life that you dreamt of; or

B. Have you forgotten what your dreams are or given up on them?

A. Are you physically, emotionally and spiritually “fit”; or

B. Do you feel like staying in bed all day?

A. Do you have a calm mind; or

B. Do you have a monkey mind (poor monkeys L).

A. Are you grateful for what you have or have achieved; or

B. Are you dissatisfied, and jealous of what you don’t have?

A. Do you produce and get results; or

B. Do you complain and make excuses about why you can’t get results?

A. Do you feel that your life is like being on holiday all the time; or

B. Do you need holidays from your life?

Out of 12, how many ‘A’ did you get? If more than half, congratulations, you are on your way! If less than half, then it’s time to make changes.

Which question caught your attention the most? That will be a good starting point!

The biggest regret people confess to before dying is not having made the changes they should have made.

Is there a personal change that you can commit to after reading this? Break your fears and share your change in the comments below. That will be a good sign that you are truly ready to make a change.

Here’s to embracing never-ending change!
